Want to see the Number of Republicans in Vermillion County Indiana Grow?

There are many things that have made America the great Country that it is. One of these things is the two-party system. This competitive atmosphere has provided many great leaders on both sides of the political fence.

On a national and state level, both parties (Democratic and Republican) have enjoyed and suffered through good and lean years. Vermillion County, however, is an area that has not profited from this situation. How long has it been since we have had a Republican serving as:

County Judge , County Prosecutor, County Sheriff, or Clinton City Mayor

And all the other county offices?             Far too long!

What does it take to turn this situation around? Basically two things- People & Money! Certainly you are not going to make any progress without dedicated and active people, who are willing to work to make a commitment and the dedication to follow through. The harvest is ripe, but the workers are few. As has been said, many Vermillion county people think Republican, but go to the polls and vote Democratic. Good candidates and workers are essential.

Now the money angle. We all know that political finance has been a much discussed issue these past weeks and months. So, it must be near to the heart of the issue. To wage any kind of a successful campaign requires $’s and lots of them, whether it is for a township, county, state, or national office. Advertising material, signs, newspaper, radio and TV time, mileage all require money.

Unfortunately the Vermillion County GOP Club has not been blessed with a large treasury or a rich "sugar daddy". So how do we get money? One possible way to raise some extra funds would be through the issuance of paid membership in the Vermillion County GOP Club. These would be offered as graduated levels:

U.S. Grant level up to $49

An attractive and appropriate card would be designed and issued to contributors. This will give individuals an opportunity to help the cause, as well as being a part of an effort to make a difference.
