April 12Th 2007 Minutes
The Vermillion County Republicans’ April meeting was held at the Newport Courthouse.
Kathy Clark led the Pledge of Allegiance and Tim Yocum gave the prayer.
Tim spoke on the Lincoln Day Dinner and the Clinton City Election.
He also introduced the new officers and precinct committeemen.
Tickets for the dinner were given out to the precinct committeemen in attendance.
Our guest speaker, Sergeant Dustin Maxfield, spoke on his military service in Iraq and the importance of supporting President Bush and the soldiers. He finished by answering the many questions we had for him. Everyone enjoyed having him speak to our group.
Martha Chew from Eugene won the door prize.
Kim Elliot served refreshments.
Twenty people were in attendance representing:
Perrysville, Cayuga, Clinton, Dana, Eugene, Newport, and Saint Bernice.
